Anti-CD3 Antibody [Clone OKT3]
Cluster of differentiation 3 (CD3) is one component of T cell receptor (TCR) complex that plays an important role in T cell development. CD3 cantains five different polypeptide chains: CD3-gamma, CD3-delta, CD3-epsilon, and zeta chain. The anti-CD3 antibody is specifically against the CD3-epsilon chain which is associated with the antigen recognition and signal transduction.
